God, thank you so much today. Lord, as we start this week we bring all of our cares and worries to you. We thank you that you are for us and not against us. You know all of the challenges that we face and I thank you that you are bigger than each and every single one of them. I pray that you would give us wisdom this week to follow you. I pray that your peace that passes understanding would guard our hearts and our minds in Christ Jesus. God, you know the worries and cares…I pray that you would help us to trust you with all of our hearts and to lean not on our own understanding. Thank you that you are able to do immeasurably more than anything that we could ever ask or imagine. God, I confess that a lot of times I don’t want to trust you and I try to lean on myself instead of leaning on you. I pray that today you would fill us with your Spirit and have your way in every area of our lives. Ultimately we pray that you would use us for your purposes whatever that may look like.
