Invigorated by a passion to serve but wondering if I’ll have the nerve to speak when the times comes. My soul runs from situations and conversations that mandate more from me than I can be. When my power to see fails and my understanding pales in comparison to the situation before me. The fear in my heart tries to floor me and keep me from trusting in the King who is busting through the veil that separates earth from heaven. It takes power from on high to walk above the waves of insecurity and depression. The impression that I get when I forget about the world I’m in and focus on what matters most is that our boast should not and cannot be in our ability to see but only in the cross of Calvary…only in the God who can keep you from stumbling and who has the ability to speak when our hearts are bumbling through the fiery trials that we face…perpetually reminding  us that this place is not our home but still proclaiming that we are not alone.
